We did a little more decorating to the apartment this weekend with some friends...and I really should say that I did a little more decorating. No surprises really that my husband doesn't really care what I put up as long as it isn't a bunch of pink and frilly stuff. Although that would make my nieces happy.
This is the living room.
The "D" was a gift for the beginning of our family.
Than we got a proper picture frame to display "The Family: A Proclamation to the World"
reminding us and others what our family means to us.
We finally got around to decorating our bedroom and I have to say that as much as I would like to claim the artistic genius the entire thing is Nikki's idea and I can guarantee she would be happy to do anyone else's home. Just give her a budget and she will go to town with a smile.
Although our family is small, the word was the perfect addition to this little wall collage.
Now I would like some opinions on this one. I think the "R" needs to be painted a lighter color due to the motif. But the question is, do I paint it grey or the light blue from the bedspread? Grey would be more universal but the blue would be a fun pop of color. And do I use spray paint?
Oh and should I put something in between them? a "+" or a "&"?
I have to say I really do enjoy making this little apartment into a real home for us.
