Bass Pro Shops

Is there any other store where you can wander around for quite a while and see so many toys you want to play with but need a lot of money to actually buy and use.

Oh and they have a fun shooting gallery where when you hit something all kinds of things happen.

Ryan's first game of checkers and we stalemated.

Blood Moon During the Lunar Eclipse

I have never seen an eclipse before and so this week Ryan got me up at 1:30 in the morning kept me awake to watch the great change in the sky.  No I will be honest we didn't have the greatest camera's for good pictures but a friend took a good one that truly shows how amazing it was.

It had been a full moon earlier that evening.

It was worth getting up to see how this all happened in just a few short minutes.

Lazy Afternoon

Now I know I have mostly been posting about our apartment and the fun I have had decorating it, but believe it or not we have been keeping busy with lots of other things like school and work.

But recently we have tried a few creative ways to have fun and distract ourselves from
the grime of daily living.

Ryan bought a home table top air hockey set and we set it up the other day and played a game or two.  It is actually harder that a normal table to score. It was a blast, but then again I did win.

We figured out how to use the timer on my camera so we got one with both of us in it.

Ryan also bought a table top curling set.  It works really well and even has pencil brooms to keep score.
Curling always makes me think of my dad since he loves to watch it every Winter Olympics.
It was two out of three and I honestly don't remember who got two, so let's say me just to be safe.

These games and "The Andy Griffith Show" made for quite the fun evening.
Anyone is welcome to come by and try the games with us.
